Say that you complete an action, but another is raised because of this,
eg "Determine if skip can be discontinued". The action to determine if it can be discontinued may be completed on time, but there may be a constraint such as a contract which means that the contract on the skip has 3 months to run.

In this case, you need to

· Sign off the original action

· Raise a new action such as “discontinue contract” with a different date.

Situation 1 - You are already in the issue

Step	Action
1	Go to a new record, either by scrolling down or using the new record key
2	Enter the new action.

Situation 2 - You are in the My Actions form

To ensure that the new action is linked to the same issue as the first:

1	Click on the See This Issue button
2	When the appropriate form is displayed, click on the Actions button in this form and enter the new action.
